Tinkerbell band-aids here we come.

I should mention that the last two boxes I've gotten free. I think it's more the redundant asking that sends me over the edge. Give yourself a box and you get to decide when to use your bandaids! I promise, that while they might use a lot at first, the novelty wears off and having your very own box of bandaids just gives powerless little people some sort of control.marthamachttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17092976148608937576noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1350388806581742644.post-65218718853153191182010-05-06T13:31:55.329-07:002010-05-06T13:31:55.329-07:00Our rule is if it isn't bleeding, no bandaid. ...Our rule is if it isn't bleeding, no bandaid. But at Christmas the last couple of years I've put a box in each girl's stocking, usually the fancy character ones that I refuse to buy the rest of the year, and then they have their own bandaids to use up however they choose. The first year they were gone in two weeks, but this year I think we still may have some fancy bandaids around here somewhere.Allisonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03091674368324908480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1350388806581742644.post-42115748330287541612010-05-05T20:52:15.712-07:002010-05-05T20:52:15.712-07:00We don't do bandaids unless there's blood ...We don't do bandaids unless there's blood either. It's an outward way to help her calm down when she was upset. She went through a time where lots of bandaids were used but it was short and now she knows what they are for. She was already full of drama, and actually the bandaid cut the drama. Without it, calming down was just too hard for a while. So, my opinion, which is not the popular one, its JUST a bandaid! :)Katehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07929019366520229855noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1350388806581742644.post-38062839013619483642010-05-05T04:06:49.523-07:002010-05-05T04:06:49.523-07:00Isaac is the same way and I saw the same thing to ...Isaac is the same way and I saw the same thing to him. My kids love them too. We tell them bandaids are for when you're bleeding. It's the truth. Not heartless - that's what they're for. If you're not bleeding, you don't need one. Apparently I have ripped them off too carelessly, nevertheless, they probably won't ask for a bandaid for as long as they live. ;)aimeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08645597066269777623noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1350388806581742644.post-63944221547807847202010-05-04T18:09:40.468-07:002010-05-04T18:09:40.468-07:00Dont worry. LOL Its teaching them a little temperance and control. If my kids were bleeding they could have one, if not then sorry for your luck. Now my kids are between 13-20 and when I leave sometimes I tell them not to call my cell unless the house is on fire or someone is bleeding. LOL You are not heartless, you just need to teach the lesson of what band aides are for. You will do fine but if they cant go without a band aide how will they ever give birth!
